An apple a day

... does not always keep the digidoctor away, I'm afraid (at least not in my experience :-( ). Apple is okay, Apple is different, but it's also a bit of a 'community feeling' which is based more on emotional rather than rational criteria (unless you're in the graphic design sector, I suppose)... Anyway: still a nice piece of equipment in the photo!

I think this is another one where we'll have to agree to disagree Serge. I know they look pretty and it's an emotional thing, although believe me, Apple have made a few decisions recently that have gone against the grain with some of that community (including me). But, from my experience, they're great machines for what I need them to do, they're not ugly beige boxes and they last a lot longer than any microsoft-based machine I've ever had/used.

We have a product over here called Marmite (it's a kind of salty, dark brown spread you eat on toast). It's marketed under the strapline 'you either love it or hate it', which is very true. I think Apple is the same. You're either a mac fan or you're not. Incidentally, I like marmite too.

It's so sexy isn't it? My mac is 3 years old now and looking a bit worse for wear. However it has the capacity to keep going nd never gets viruses!!

Sitting at the mac eating marmite on toast....mmmm heaven :)
